I actually was inspired to write this song after seeing the movie “A Star Is Born” in theaters a few years ago, and after hearing Lady Gaga sing the final song “I’ll Never Love Again,” I was left in such tears, like the most I’ve ever cried at a movie.

I wanted to write a stripped down song that emphasized the lyrics, which describe home as not a physical place, but rather a place in my heart that I can carry with me. This song reminds me to trust myself and look inward when I need comfort.
